Teamwork ~ Leadership ~ Commitment
As yesterday's defenders of freedom, we, at VFW Post 4031, want to welcome today's military service members into our ranks and become part of our elite group.  Our common bond is the battlefield, whether it is service in the Persian Gulf, Vietnam, Korea, Kosovo, the war on terrorism or peace-keeping expeditionary campaigns. Your courage and sacrifice have made a difference in preserving and defending world peace. We are dedicated to support of our most important National Asset.... our veterans. Please join us and contribute to our efforts to support our local veterans and their families.

Welcome to the Find the Turkey Thanksgiving contest. Somewhere on this website is this image of a turkey.
Click on the turkey image and this will bring up an email form. Write in "I Found the Turkey” and include your name. The webmaster will place your name in the "I Found the Turkey” Hall of Fame. Good luck and enjoy a wonderful Thanksgiving. This contest will end on Sunday. So far there are three people who have found the Turkey. Here is a link to the "I Found  Turkey” Hall of Fame.
VFW Post 4031 would like to thank a number of Durango firms who have contributed materials and time to make our Post renovation go smoothly. Rock Solid donated the granite countertops for the bathrooms, Guy's Tile provided all the flooring for the bathrooms, and Phillips Electric provided us with electric materials at their cost. Special thanks to Chris Bartlett for his hard work in making all the electrical work. We know there are others we should thank and we will do so when we get additional information. This web site has a Thank You Sponsors and Donors Page under the News heading which list all those firms and individuals who have contributed to our success. Thank you!!!!
