JOIN THE VETERANS OF FOREIGN WARS
As yesterday's defenders of freedom, we, at VFW Post 4031, want to welcome today's military service members into our ranks to become part of our elite group. Our common bond is the battlefield, whether it is service in the Persian Gulf, Korea, Vietnam, Kosovo, the  Global War on Terrorism or peace-keeping expeditionary campaigns. Your courage and sacrifice have made a difference in preserving and defending world peace.

If you have received a campaign medal for overseas service; have served 30 consecutive or 60 non-consecutive days in Korea; or have ever received hostile fire or imminent danger pay, then you're eligible to join our ranks.

Eligibility for the VFW 

If you wish to join the VFW for the first time or wish to transfer your membership to Post 4031 stop by the Post to fill out an application, print this application and bring it to the Post or submit it by e-mail. You will also need to submit your DD214 with the application. If you want to pay for your annual membership you can pay on line by clicking the Pay Dues Button below.  Both new members and member transfer forms are available by clicking here. New Member/Membership Transfer  Application Form. You can also apply on line through the National VFW here - On-Line New Member Application. If you use this method you will need to transfer your At-Large Membership to Post 4031. You can download our Membership Rack Card by clicking on the thumbnail below.
 
 

 
We encourage you to join as a Life Member as your Life Membership helps VFW Post 4031 by providing a steady stream of income for your entire term of membership. Additionally you do not have to remember to send in your annual dues each year. Here is a table which shows the Life Membership payments. As you can see these payments are reduced as you get older.

Membership renewal can be accomplished by doing the following:


1.   Go to the National VFW web site  - http://www.vfw.org/.   

2.   Select Login tab.

3.   Login or create an account, as necessary.

4.   Select membership services.

5.   Renew membership

 LEGACY LIFE MEMBERSHIP

When you become a Legacy Life Member, you are helping us strengthen the VFW - where NO ONE DOES MORE FOR VETERANS.


Once your Legacy Life Membership begins, an annual endowment in your name will be made to your Post, Department and the National VFW. You will feel confident knowing your contributions to our organization are not only helping today's veterans, but the veterans of tomorrow. Future generations will know and remember you for the sacrifices you made during your time in uniform in addition to the contributions you made as a VFW Legacy Life Member.


Three prestigious levels of Legacy Life Membership are available (Gold, Silver or Bronze). Each level offers generous benefits reserved exclusively for Legacy Life Members. For any questions regarding Legacy Life Membership, please contact the Post at (970) 247-0384 or the VFW Membership Department at 816-756-3390. We will gladly provide you with more information on this prestigious and rewarding membership.


Memorial Legacy Life Memberships. You may also purchase a Memorial Legacy in the name of a deceased VFW Life Member in order to help future generations know and honor their sacrifice and contributions.
