35 years ago two college friends, John Wells and Jim Wotkyns, founded The Wells Group in Downtown Durango at the corner of 9th and Main. From the very beginning, the focus and foundation of The Wells Group has been to support our Brokers and to provide the best services to our customers.

The Wells Group is proud to have its roots firmly grounded here in Southwest Colorado. For more than 3 decades we have built a legacy of family and community. As a team, we are dedicated to one another and to supporting our brokers’ families as our own.
