Francis Perlmutter
Code Breaker -

Frances J Cohen Pearlmutter

June 10, 1923 — May 4, 2024

Mancos, Colorado

Frances Judith Cohen was born on June 10 1923 and died May 4 2024. She was many things: mother, grandmother, great grandmother, adventurer and free spirit. Her family was always very important to her as was her independence and freedom.
She was a lifelong crusader not only for women’s rights but for honoring heritage, beliefs and individualism.

She responded to her nations call during WWII to report to DC to learn some Japanese and become a code breaker. She was very proud and thankful to be an American, and a citizen of a nation founded on the principles
 she held dear.

She was always interested in intelligent conversation, new friends, new vistas and traveling the world.

She was an independent woman but totally energized by her four great grand children and the many loving family gatherings that took place on the Thunderbird Ranch where she spent her last 8 years living with her daughter Debby and her son in law Gary.
